Message from the Superintendent

Fulton County is a wonderful place to call “Home” and the students at Central Fulton are receiving a quality education that will provide a solid foundation whether they acquire employment immediately following graduation, choose to further their education, or pursue dreams that take them far from home.  A solid core curriculum is in place along with a focus on employable skills such as responsibility, preparedness and teamwork. Our dedicated and compassionate staff work beyond the school day to ensure our students experience success.  In addition to high academic standards, keeping all children safe and connected to school through well-managed extracurricular programs is of equal importance.

Administrators and teachers continually facilitate the use of data to drive decision making and deliver effective core instruction for all students, coupled with support and intervention, when students need extra assistance or accelerated instruction. While budget deficits have caused many districts to scale back to a basic curriculum, Central Fulton has increased offerings in advanced placement courses, college courses, and externship placements based on career objectives.

At Central Fulton, we subscribe to the philosophy that all students can achieve. Our commitment to have all students reading at a proficient level by the end of third grade will not be compromised. Taking great pride in the many achievements of our students, we continue to cultivate student success by increasing communication with our students, parents, and community members. From collaboration through the online tutorial program to the implementation of Quality Councils, we welcome input from all stakeholders and extend an ongoing invitation to visit our schools.

Every day is a good day for a parent conference.

Sincerely,

Dwayne D. Northcraft
Superintendent of Schools
