Seniors: Just a reminder that your senior/educational project and your portfolio need to be completed and have all the required signatures by the end of the first semester which is January 21st. These items are graduation requirements and need to be turned into the guidance office before the deadline. Any questions see your homeroom teacher or the guidance office.
Attention Seniors: Friend and Family ads are due. If your family wants ad space in the 2009 yearbook, see Mrs. Eichelberger or the Moodle.

The Philadelphia Section of the Society of Women Engineers and Widener University are co-sponsoring a 1-day Engineering Mini-Camp for girls in grades 9-12. the camp will be held February 7th on the Widener University’s Chester campus and is free of charge on a first come basis. It will bring together girls who have an interest and/or ability in science/math/technology with female engineers. For more information see Mrs. McMullen.
The library will be closed period 5 and during “B” lunch today.
SPORTS
Congratulations to the boy’s basketball varsity team on their first win of the season on Friday, January 2. The Spartans beat Hyndman 58-49. Ryan Defibaugh, Drew Wink, and Evan Appleby all scored in double figures for the Spartans. In last night’s action the Spartan’s lost to CVCS 62-47. Jarrod Appleby scored 13 and Defibaugh scored 11. In the JV game the Spartans won their 6th game of the season by the score of 47-39. Eight players contributed points in the victory. Next game for the Spartans will be county rival Forbes Road at Forbes Road.
