Outdoor Expo

Stop the bleed

On Thursday, April 26, Bedford Fulton Outdoor Education held an outdoor expo for the students at McConnellsburg High School.  All students in grades 9-12 participated.  The event focused on outdoor careers.  Some of the scheduled presenters included Allegheny College of  Maryland Forestry Department, The Fulton County Conservation District, REI, Whitetail, The Wilson College Center for Sustainable Living.  In addition, Arrive Alive provided a program to address impaired driving and the Fulton County Medical Medical Center offered Stop the Bleed training. The students also competed in a casting competition sponsored by the Fish and Game Commission. We would like to thank all of the teachers, faculty, staff, and presents for a wonderful day. A special thanks goes out to Mr. Dayton Tweedy for organizing this great experience for our students.
